Pierre Pauze uses the narrative fiction as a conveyor of an aesthetics overruning on reality. By exploring the border between the fim creative process and the immersive experience in front of a video art work.

His approach can be defined as « a poetic ethnology », how to take a singular look on the complexity of today’s world, by participating in this reality within the relational experience which is implied by the art work making process.

He is interested in contemporary phenomenons linked to the rise of new technologies, of transhumanism ideologies or of science fiction, that he brings together with elements of religious or mystical ancestral traditions, thus creating analogies between past and future, by blurring the edges of time and space thanks to fiction.

He integrates for this purpose performative and sculptural elements in his movies, which are played again in space through immersive installations devices.
